Getting There
The Oasis at Death Valley is located in the heart of Death Valley National Park, approximately 120 miles northwest of Las Vegas and 295 miles northeast of Los Angeles.
Drive time from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport is just over 2 hours.
Drive time from LAX, Burbank, or Long Beach is around 4.5-5 hours in good traffic.
Please note there is a $30 entrance fee for each vehicle entering Death Valley National Park. Holders of a current pass that is part of the nationwide America the Beautiful Annual series do not need to pay the park entrance fee.
The Inn at Death Valley
The ceremony and reception will be held at the Inn at Death Valley.
We have reserved rooms at the Inn at Death Valley for a special rate of $375 per night per room (two person occupancy). To book, please call 760.786.2345. The booking code for the group rate at the Inn is 1063221. Please let the booking agent know you are calling to book a room for the Jarvis/Shumway wedding.
Rooms need to be booked by Monday September 5, 2022 at the latest.
At the time of reservation, a deposit equal to one night's room rate plus tax will be due.
Please note that there is a $28 resort fee plus tax for each room. If you'd like to add a 3rd adult to your room, a $20 fee plus 12% tax per night also applies.
The Ranch at Death Valley
Nearby the wedding and ceremony venue is a more affordable hotel: The Ranch at Death Valley. The Ranch is less than 5 minutes from The Inn and there will be a complimentary shuttle service between the two.

If you're looking for even more affordable accommodation, Airbnbs and cheaper hotels and motels can be found in Pahrump, NV. Pahrump is about an hour away from the wedding and reception venue. We actually stayed at a cute Airbnb in Pahrump when we visited Death Valley early in our relationship and found this very special venue!
